And then, we're incredibly lucky to have our very own, Simon Hawkins, as General Manager of The Cricketers Inn, who's warmth and wit has become one of the main reasons why The Cricketers is the place where your evenings come to life. Tom Hinsley
Our Head Chef
Tom's cooking style is all about marrying a simple technical flair with the modern European cuisine. Having previously worked as the head chef at Greyfriars in Chawton, trained at South Downs College, and spent 10 years in London at The Social Company, Tom has finally returned to Hampshire, where he feels most at home, to share his culinary expertise and create exceptional dining experiences at The Cricketers. Having brought with him a wealth of experience and knowledge, Tom is passionate about passing this on to the next generation of chefs!
Simon Hawkins
Award-winning landlord, serial entrepreneur and English wine expert!
Simon is an experienced publican with a deep love for local food. As the co-founder of Hawkins Bros Fine English Wines, Simon is a true wine guru and has dedicated his life to promoting the very best that England has to offer. When he's not running his own wine business, Simon can often be found at The Cricketers, sharing his knowledge and passion for English wine with guests and ensuring that every glass poured is of the highest quality. With a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence, Simon is an integral part of The Cricketers team, helping to create a dining experience that is truly unforgettable.
